I am thankful for

1. My house- I now realize how lucky I am to be able to have a roof over my head and heat at night.

2. My family- I will have all my family with me that I don't normally see this holiday.

3. My friends- Being so stressed from actually trying in school would not be worth it if I didn't have friends to distract me from it.

4. My health- I am lucky to be healthy and not have to depend on medication.

5. My puppies- They're fluffy and I love them.

1.) Family
2.) Friends
3.) My house
4.) Food/Water
5.) Sports

I am thankful for all of these things because without them my life wouldn't be the same. We learned how important some of these things really are especially during the hurricane. We all saw many people lose their houses and not be able to get food and water during the hurricane and we never really thought about or relized how different our life would be without them.

I am thankful for…
1. My family and friends- The people who I will be spending a lot of time with during this holiday season.
2. My house- After Hurricane Sandy, I realize how little things that we take for granted like heat and a home make a huge difference.
3. My health- I am grateful for my ability to wake up every day and function without having to rely on medication.
4. My team- I never have to dread a practice because I know it won’t ever be boring.
5. Music and dance- the only two things that can keep my mind off of stress, homework, and college apps.

1.I am very thankful for my family. They are the reason for my existence and the people who will love me for exactly who I am.
2. I am very thankful for my health. I am thankful to be able to wake up every morning and get out of bed (as hard as that may be). I am also thankful for the health of my family and friends.
3. I am very thankful for my good friends. Whenever I need a laugh I know that I can count on them. They are always there for me and I will cherish the many memories we have for the rest of my life. Take for example- Josh Castro- whenever I need a laugh i can count on him to make me laugh until I cry!
4. I am very thankful to live in America. The land of the free will always be a home to me and I am so lucky to live in such a prosperous place with so many opportunities.
5. And lastly, I am thankful for all the lessons I learned in life. All the people that I've met, places I've been, and thing I've done have all taught me a very valuable lesson about life.

1. I am very thankful for being one of the few houses that were not damaged or destroyed during hurricane Sandy. I know alot of people lost everything and are still trying to recover.

2. I am very thankful for Nicole. Shes the one person who keeps me in the sunlight. Every day when I see her I can count on an entertaining conversation and a claw. And for that, i'm thankful.

3. I'm very thankful to still be celebrating this thanksgiving with my grandmothers. My grandfathers not being there remind me to cherish every moment i have with the family that i have right now.

4. I'm thankful for my little sister because without her i would sit home and do nothing.

5. I'm thankful for my mom cause shes the most important person in my life.

I am thankful for everything I have and everyone that is in my life. The five things I am most thankful for are family, friends, dance, health, and home. My family is my backbone and is always by my side no matter what. I know that they will always be there for me and I will always be able to count on them. My friends are also my support group and I can turn to them for anything and everything. I know if I’m having a bad day, I can count on them to cheer me up. Dancing is my absolute favorite thing to do. It’s my way of expressing myself and just being myself. I’m a pretty healthy person and do not have any health problems. There are so many people who have all sorts of diseases and health issues and I’m fortunate enough to not be one of those people. After the hurricane, I really began to appreciate my home. So many families have lost their homes. Home is my safe place and makes me feel protected.

Five things I am thankful for are…
Electricity- after living without power for 12 days I am very thankful to now have power and be able to live normally again.
Family- I am blessed to have a mother, father, and sister, who all care for me and are loving and supportive.
Dance- I am thankful that I have a hobby and a place where I can express myself through the art of dance.
My dog- I am thankful for my puppy because he always wants to play and always puts me in a good mood.
Friends- I am thankful for my great group of friends who share the same interests as me and support me. Our similarities help us to get along so well and I don’t think I could get along better with any other people.

The 5 things I’m most thankful for are my family, my health, my friends, my house, and all the opportunities that are given to me. I’m thankful for these things because without them I couldn’t become who I am today. I know when things get down in the dumps I can just look and see all the stuff I have and tell myself that many people have it a lot worse. All these things make me happy and what I can count on.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays, not only because of the imense amount of delicious food, but because it is a time where every family comes together and shares what they are thankful for. I'm thankful for so many things, but I am most thankful for my family. Without them I would be nothing, but because of them I am everything that I am today. They are always there for me when nobody else is and I can never thank them enough for the things they've done for me just to make me happy. Although my parents are divorced and live hours away from eachother, they still do everything in their will to show how much I mean to them and that means the world to me. I am also thankful for my friends. I've known my best friend Bridget since first grade and over the years we've gotten closer and closer. She always offers a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on and an ear for whenever I just need to get things off my mind. She's my partner in crime, the sister I always wanted and my absolute best friend and I'm so thankful that she's always been there for me. I am also thankful for not only my health, but also the health of my friends and family. I am so grateful that nobody I know got injured in the Hurricane Sandy storm and that everyone is safe and sound. Another thing I am thankful for is my education. Without my education I don't know where I would be right now, but I know I wouldn't be as successful as I can be. The last thing I am grateful for is dance. I started dance when I was three years old and I've been on kickline since seventh grade. Dance has always been an escape for me when I am having a hard time with life itself and I'm so thankful I can always turn to kickline or dance whenever I am stressed, upset or angry. It always manages to get everything off my mind and that is one of my favorite things about life.

The five things that I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving:
1) My family- My mom, my dad, my sister Christine(11), my brother Michael (9), and my baby brother Matthew (6).
2) I'm thankful for power! Also, I'm thankful for heat to keep me warm.
3) My friends- whenever I'm stressed from school or life, I can always count on them to entertain me, and make me laugh.
4) I'm thankful for my house, because even though I have to share a room with my sister, it's still a roof over my head.
5) I'm thankful for my education, and I hope to continue getting good education throughout college.

If I had to choose 5 things I am most thankful for this year, it would be my family, my friends, the health of my family and I, dance, and my cat.

Family- From day one, my family has given me much love and support in everything I do. They are by far the most important people in my life, and I am blessed to have an incredible mother, father, sister, grandmother, aunts and uncles.

Friends- I am so thankful to have such amazing people in my life that I could call my best friends. I know I can trust them with my life, and they will always be there for me every step of the way.

Health- I am so thankful each and every day for the health of my family and I.

Dance- Dance is basically my life. I am very thankful to have a hobby where I can express my emotions and feelings.

Cat- Lastly, I am so thankful for my two cats Romeo and Munchkin. I have a sick obsession with cats, and love them dearly.

Thanksgiving is a time where we should appreciate everything we have. Some of the things I am thankful for include my family. Without my family I don’t know where I would be. They are always there for me when I need them and are very caring. I am thankful also for my friends. My friends keep me busy and can always put a smile on my face. My health is something I am extremely thankful for. Although I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I am thankful that it wasn’t something worse. Without technology, we wouldn’t be able to communicate and keep up with the latest news. The final thing I am most thankful for is opportunity. I am proud to live a great life in America and have the opportunity and education I have.

2. Friends- My friends are an excellent group of people that all understand each other and how we all relate. They are an excellent stress reliever.

3. Health/Well Being- My health is one of the many things I am grateful for especially in the wake of the hurricane and other evetns.

4. Home- My priveledge of having a home is one that I am also especially grateful for in wake of the Storm and other events.

5. Sports- Sports offer an escape and a free time where I can be stress free and dont have to worry about school.

1. I am thankful for the car that my parents gave me. Even though its not a new car and that its not in its best condition, I'm grateful to have a car where it gives me more freedom. I could go wherever I want and I wouldn't have a car if it wasn't for my parents.

2. I am thankful for the house that live in. I live in a big house compared to how much my parents make because they struggle to keep the house since they don't have much money, but they do it anyways. They put a roof over my head that costs thousands of dollars to have and they share it with me.

3. I am thankful for my backyard. My backyard is big where you can have your private time with your friends and family playing sports and other activities.

4. I am thankful for the pool that I have. I have an in ground pool that no one else in my whole family has. Only my parents have a pool and they're the poorest of our family. Family comes over and my cousins and I swim and race against each other.

5. I am thankful for my parents. Without my parents they're would be so many things less I would be thankful for since they give me all I'm thankful for. They take care of me everyday for the past 17 years.

During times of thanksgiving it is very important to realize what you have and to appreciate it. Hurricane Sandy has certainly helped most of us realize that it’s the simple things that we should cherish.
-Family: One of the most important things to be thankful for. Friends come and go, but your family is always there forever. There are there for you through thick and thin. My family really comes together since the hurricane and my grandmothers passing during the hurricane. Even though me and my sister fight at times we have so much fun together when we hang out.
-Shelter: I think many people in the Smithtown area have realized that we have been pretty lucky in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy. We still have our houses which I am very thankful for. Many people lost their houses and sit in the cold looking for shelters because they lost their homes.
-Health: Sometimes I don’t realize how lucky I am to be in good health. I could be medicated every day and not be able to go to school. I want to do the things that I want to do and healthy enough to do it. I hope for my family to be healthier than the past year.
-Friends: They are great people to be around because they are all accepting and just plain fun to hang out with.
-Music: Although I would consider this to be rather materialistic myself. I am extremely thankful for music. It has helped me through hard times over the past couple years. I truly believe that it helps you heal. Music provides expression to who you are and what you are feeling.

I am thankful for
My friends because without them I don’t think I would be here right now I have gone through some really rough and depressing times. They have always been there to talk me through it and “talk me down from the ledge”.
My house because many people don’t have roofs over their heads right now especially because of this storm.
My sisters because we have so many funny times together even though my 13 year old sister and I fight a lot I still love her. My 3 year old sister and I don’t fight at all. She makes me laugh all the time.
My health because even though I have a few minor problems here and there I am mostly healthy this means a lot to me because I’ve seen firsthand what losing your legs can be like because my uncle is a paraplegic, that is paralyzed from the waist down and his life has changed drastically because of that
Being able to live in America because we have a freedom here that is not available to many others in different countries.

1. I am thankful for my family. They are my support in anything I do and i know that they will be there for me no matter what. I can depend on them in hard times and they can depend on me in hard times which is why they are what I am most thankful for.

2. My friends are right there with my family. Though I love my family, without my friends life would be difficult because they are the people i can talk to and relate to and share a certain bond with. All of my friends are awesome and I wouldnt be the same without them.

3. My house is also very important to me. I have been lucky enough to live in a nice house. sleep in a nice bed, and enjoy nice things thanks to the hard work my dad put in throughout his career. I appreciate everything I have and in times like these I am extremely grateful for the roof over my head.

4. Lacrosse has been a savior to me. It makes me happy at any time. When I'm sad I pick up my stick and play and forget about everything else that is wrong. It has brought me tons of friends and relationships I'll share for the rest of my life, and has helped me get into a great college.

5. My health. Many people out their are very sick with terribly unfortunate diseases. To pay tribute to them I have been growing my mustache to raise awareness about blood cancers and raise money for those in need because I understand the effects a disease like cancer has on them.

I’m also thankful for my friends, they always keep me laughing and having fun. I’m thankful for my house that it’s okay after the terrible hurricane and I’m thankful for my car that I’m fortunate enough to have one.

1: My Family- Family always comes first in my life and as cliche as it sounds, I honestly can't live without them. They are there to bicker and give more love than anyone else can.

2: My Health- I went through a rough patch last year which eventually came to an end over the summer when I had surgery. I'm thankful that it's finally over and I'm as healthy as ever.

3: My Jobs- Worling two jobs is a huge responsibility but it teaches me so many different things. I love both jobs and the people I work with and thank them for helping me become a hard worker and learn valuable lessons for my future.

4: My House- The hurricane made me realize how fortunate I am that I have a roof over my head with heat and eletricity.

5: My Bestfriends- Almost eleven years of friendship has lead me to adopt my bestfriends as my sisters. No matter what comes our way, we are there, holding hands to get through it together.

First, I would like to give thanks to my family. My parents are divorced and both remarried to wonderful people with kids of their own. I cannot be luckier to have two amazing families that get along with each other. Second, I am thankful for my extended family. Although some live far away it makes the time that I spend with them a million times more fun. I have cousins my age who are my best friends and aunts and uncles who would bend over backwards for me. Third, I am thankful for my friends. Over the years I have made a lot of friends but I can honestly say that I have two best friends who have become like family to me. Not everybody has somebody that always has your back and I am grateful that I do. Fourth, I am extremely grateful for my home. We just had a hurricane that hit and both my mom and my dad’s houses had no damage to them. In fact, my summer home in Montauk and dad’s apartment in the city both don’t have damage either. I’m just lucky that I have those places to go to and all the amazing times I have spent there. Last, I am thankful of my health and my families’ health. Nobody in my family so far has been really sick and I have always had good health as well. To me these are the most important things in my life and I couldn’t be more appreciative of them.

1. My family- Every person in my family is uniqgue in their own special way. Everyone I live with manages to entertain me daily and I realize not all people get to experience a family like I do.

2. My house- Constantly being provided with heat, warm water, and free personal space, I am extremely thankful for my house.

3. My friends- I coudln't be more thankful for the random group of friends I am provided with daily. My friends are always able to entertain me and each one has their own unique personality.

4. Breaking Bad- I honestly feel that Breaking Bad is the greatest show I have ever experienced. I still can't grasp on how the writers generate such interesting storylines...I love it.

5. My dog/Julia- My chocolate lab Bosco always fulfills me with happiness whenever I lay eyes on him. Julia, she was sitting next to me when I wrote this so I was pressured into putting her name down, but she's cool I guess<3

I am thankful for:

My Mom- She is always there for me whenever I need her. Whether she is making dinner, cleaning my room, starting my car in the morning, or driving all the way to the city on a Tuesday to see me compete at The Armory, she is always there supporting me. I honestly don't know what I would do without her.

My Car- Yeah, my car is old and a little rusty but I love it. It's reliable and gets me from place to place. I probably would've missed write a few rehearsals and practices without my 1990 mustang.

My health- I have been through some serious injuries and sicknesses that I thought I would never be able to overcome, but I have and I'm extremely grateful for my resilience.

Track- Track has honestly shaped my high school life and I'm so happy it has. I have found a passion and a drive in my life that keeps me focused, determined, and passionate for something which everybody needs in life.

My Independence- Although it may be controversial, I think that having independence and being able to hold your own and have your ideas is something to be thankful for because not many people possess that trait.
